Head of HR

Head of HR opportunity reporting to the Chief Executive and working with the leadership team to deliver a professional and engaging HR service across the business units for a not-for-profit organisation near Portsmouth, Hampshire
As the Head of HR, you will be responsible for leading a small HR team delivering full HR generalist service and working with the executive leadership team.
Areas of responsibility

• Employment Law, Policy, procedures ensuring they are simple and user-friendly
• Oversight of HR Systems
• Leading recruitment to attract the best for the organisation
• Induction & Onboarding
• Developing & Implementation of performance management
• Supervision & line management of HR team
• Advice and support process for complex employer relations matters
• Leading the L&D including training needs analysis, professional competencies, people development
• HR Reporting to the board and leadership team
• Leading and managing restructuring within the organisation
• Working with the Chief Executive and leadership team on all aspects of employee engagement,

Candidates
We are seeking an experienced Head of HR who has a background of leading HR teams within complex organisations.

• CIPD Qualified
• 5 years + Senior HR Management experience.
• Systems thinker with evidence of improving systems and processes.
• Credible experience working at senior level with leadership and Board members
• Highly organised and able to prioritise in order to deliver to deadlines

The Offer

• 4 days per week on site, 1 day working from home, based at HQ near Portsmouth, Hampshire
