Head of Logistics EMEA

The Role:
The purpose of the role is to lead the logistics function for the EMEA region for all brands in the Deckers portfolio to ensure timely departure and receipt of product to fulfil all channel demands, through our outsourced service providers. You will be responsible for long term planning to maximize all future sailings to optimize cost base whilst improving service levels.
The role requires continuous improvement mindset with the goal to achieve best-in class standards. Working collaboratively with key stakeholders both within EMEA and globally to achieve common objectives, underpinned through the execution of all relevant procedures by key stakeholders.
You will also manage the EMEA Compliance function which is responsible for the management of all quality matters including product, waste, SOX and VAS for all our European Distribution Centres.
Your Impact:
  • Provide leadership and direction for the logistics team and service providers on best practice methodologies and support through business process changes.
  • Review the logistics capabilities in line with the business strategies to develop a roadmap from concept to implementation
  • Complete a cost to serve analysis for the logistics function.
  • Develop robust KPIs for all service providers and ensure regularly reporting is in place including account management from all providers
  • Key stakeholder in business projects that impact logistics
  • Work cross-functionally with upstream supply chain to delivery best-in class service to customers and consumers whilst optimising inventory.
  • Seek out and deliver improved ways of working (both systems and procedural) both within EMEA
  • Optimise potential of the EMEA Region by driving results through strong commercial / operational stock disciplines.
  • Inspire, coach and develop the team to reach their full potential

We would Love to Hear from People with:
  • Strong experience in Logistics and Customs
  • Experience at Senior Manager level
  • Experience in project management including lead roles for tenders
  • Depth of knowledge in building a strategic roadmap for a logistics function including capabilities, systemic solutions, and organizational design
