Head Of Property Management - Logistics - Client Side

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior Property Manager, essentially serving as the Head of Property Management for a leading client-side logistics investor/developer.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience to the table, demonstrating expertise in various aspects of logistics 'Property Management' with a particular emphasis on procurement, service charge management, the acquisition of assets from developers and team leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee outsourced property managers while directly overseeing the Property Management of approximately 40 assets;
• Demonstrate proficiency in procurement procedures, including the management of insurance block policies;
• Take a lead role in the acquisition of new industrial units, and the establishment of estates, showcasing a strong understanding of logistics assets and occupiers;
• Ensure efficient operations of Property Management processes and associated activities.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience in day-to-day Property Management, including facilities management, operations and maintenance (O&M), health and safety (H&S), and insurance expertise;
• Proven track record in successful procurement processes;
• Strong experience with and understanding of 'logistics' assets and occupiers;
• Ability to lead and manage a team of Property managers effectively;
• Hands-on approach with a willingness to tackle various tasks as needed;
• Demonstrated capability in taking on new industrial units and setting up estates;
• Strong understanding of ESG principles, with the ability to implement practical projects in this area;
• Respectful demeanour and ability to earn the respect of peers and team members.
