The North Yorkshire Moors Railway has an incredible opportunity for an experienced Head of Marketing to join our unique, award-winning charity. We’re powered by people, and you’ll be leading our small marketing and customer service teams, working across marketing, PR and commercial. We never stand still, and you’ll be joining us at an exciting time in our journey as we roll out a new brand identity and look ahead to a packed programme of special events.

About you:
You’ll bring a wealth of experience and skills from a senior leadership position in a busy consumer focused marketing role – ideally in tourism, heritage or passenger transport. You’ll be dedicated to ensuring we deliver first class communications and customer service that encourage people to visit, learn, shop, volunteer and donate and to ensure that we can keep running for many years to come. Focused on delivering a strong return on investment, you’ll use your commercial expertise to shape award-winning impactful marketing campaigns that bring the railway to life. You’ll be competent across the full marketing mix and lead the crafting of integrated campaigns that make us stand out as best in class. Like us, you won’t stand still. You’ll bring creativity, ideas, commercial insight, enthusiasm and thinking that’s outside the box. Your passion will inspire all those you work with and help you build strong relationships both inside and outside the railway. Keen to learn, thrive and grow in the role, you’ll also be a natural leader, passionate about developing staff and volunteers to ensure they can give their best and flourish.

- Salary dependent upon experience.
- Hours 36.5 hours per week
