TEKsystems are currently engaged with a global banking client to source the Head of Operations and Automation.
This role requires a broad range of experience from multiple disciplines, including Technology (Software/ Solution Design) and Service Oversight.
You will be accountable for senior stakeholder relationship management, solutioning all the way to successful delivery into live operation and ongoing maintenance.
Guiding strategy around the customer journey and the component parts of this to create a great customer experience.
Ultimately responsible for revenue, cost, risk management for solutions or value streams within your scope.
In this role you will be the Bank wide business automation domain owner. Owning automation patterns and solutions across the bank.
Responsibilities;
1) Identify problems and opportunities around automation across different banking functions - Think what can we use and sell to help improve cost saving via automation tasks?
2) Materialise these ideas into design and delivery project
3) Deliver automation benefits to automate to enable the function to achieve their targets
4) Ensure it lands end to end and make sure the ideal is outcome is achieved
Technical aptitude acumen is nice to have. This role is not hands on but a good understanding of technology to build automation business case to help different functions helps.
This is NOT a Project or Program management role.
This person will NOT have engineer team reporting directly into them - the engineer teams will be utilised directly from the function
Hybrid working 3 days a week In Sheffield.
