Job Description
- Lead the product team to deliver innovative and customer-focused products across channels.
- Develop and implement strategies for product development and portfolio management.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment with market trends and customer needs.
- Oversee the entire product life cycle, from conception to launch and beyond.
- Full-range architecture, gap analysis, new product development, and price activation.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure product quality and timeliness of delivery.
- Manage resources, budgets, and timelines related to product development and delivery.
- Conduct regular reviews and analyses of Product performances and work out a CIP.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all product development processes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of Product must have:
- A strong background in DIY/ Trading/ Home Improvement buying management with product development.
- Proven buying experience with senior stakeholder management within a national retail brand.
- Successfully landed and launched Product Ranges for kitchens, bathrooms, homes, etc.
- Excellent strategic thinking and decision-making abilities with a heavy focus on product.
- Technical understanding and experience in launching stone/ ceramics/ porcelain ranges are highly advantageous.
- Strong project Management and team leadership skills.
- Knowledge of market trends and customer preferences in the premium home improvement sector.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all seniority levels.
