Life Science People are looking for a creative & visionary Head of Product for a Virtual Ward Startup.
Overview:
We are seeking a visionary Head of Product to lead the product strategy and development for our innovative startup focused on creating virtual wards. As a key member of our leadership team, you will spearhead the evolution of our virtual wards' concept and work closely with the NHS to implement and deliver these solutions effectively. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the future of healthcare delivery through technology, driving innovation, and ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and usability.
Responsibilities:
- Product Vision and Strategy: Develop and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for virtual wards, aligning it with the company's objectives and the needs of the NHS and healthcare consumers.
- Leadership and Direction: Provide strong leadership, guidance, and direction to multidisciplinary product teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- NHS Collaboration: Collaborate closely with NHS stakeholders to understand their requirements, effectively communicate the benefits of virtual wards, and tailor solutions to meet their specific needs and regulations.
- Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality, user-centric virtual ward solutions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with engineering, design, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to execute product strategies efficiently and effectively.
- Market Analysis and Innovation: Stay abreast of market trends, conduct market research, and identify new opportunities for innovation and improvement within the virtual wards space.
- Product Performance and Improvement: Analyse product performance metrics and user feedback to drive continuous improvements and optimisations, ensuring products are constantly evolving to meet user needs and industry standards.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges related to product development, compliance, or market adoption.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven track record (7+ years) of Product leadership in a technology-driven company, ideally within the healthcare or related industry, with experience in leading innovative product initiatives.
- Creativity: Demonstrated ability to think creatively, conceptualise new ideas, and translate them into successful product strategies and features.
- Strategic Thinker: Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to envision future trends and opportunities in healthcare technology.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment, adaptable to changing priorities and willing to take initiative.
- Passion for Healthcare Innovation: A genuine passion for leveraging technology to improve healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.
