Head of Purchase to Pay Solutions (SAP)

Head of SAP (Purchase to Pay Solutions)- Germany- Permanent opportunity
I am currently supporting a global luxury fashion and eCommerce organisation on their search for a Head of P2P Solutions to join their teams across Germany on a permanent basis.

The role:
This role offers the opportunity to lead their talented Purchase to Pay team, drive operational excellence, and shape the future of their organization. If you are both leader, and SAP P2P expert with a hands-on mentality then they want you to join them on their journey towards scalable and reliable SAP P2P landscape.

Responsibilities:

* Lead, manage, and develop their global SAP P2P team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
* Oversee the delivery of their P2P global template and drive related initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
* Manage P2P operational service and support in the production environment, ensuring seamless functionality and uptime.
* Define and execute the global P2P solution strategy and roadmap, driving efficiency and cost reduction through innovation and automation.
* Collaborate closely with other SAP functional areas, e.g. Finance, O2C, to ensure cohesive alignment and integration.
* Manage full lifecycle of new P2P IT enterprise projects and initiatives, from conception to implementation.
* Continuously improve IT delivery, operations, and efficiencies in the P2P arena, staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes.

Qualification:

* 5+ years of deep hands-on SAP functional experience in large global organizations, with proficiency in implementing P2P processes in SAP S/4HANA.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT leadership and line management role within SAP P2P.
* Experience in master data management/governance, with a comprehensive understanding of the wider PTP ecosystem and connected modules.
* Ability to quickly assimilate a working knowledge of SAP applications within a multinational organization.
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving results in a complex, global environment.
* Hands-on mentality with fluency in both German and English languages.
* At least bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent in a relevant field.
