SalaryWalker Cole International is searching for a Head of Quality Control to join a pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in the South East of England. As the Head of Quality Control, you will be responsible for leading a team across both analytical chemistry and Quality Control testing.
Your responsibilities as the Head of Quality Control will be:
- Lead, develop and manage a team of Quality Control analyst and technicians.
- Oversee budget and executive responsibilities.
- Ensure all chemistry testing is carried out with developed, validated and approved methods.
- Work cross functionally with quality assurance and production to support seasonal and periodic increases in workload.
- A key member of the site leadership team.
To be the success candidate for the Head of Quality Control opportunity, you will demonstrate the following:
- Degree educated in chemistry, pharmacy or pharmaceutical sciences.
- Industry experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and / or research.
- Work experience in Quality Control and / or Analytical Chemistry.
- Previous experience of managing teams is essential
- Expert knowledge of HPLC.
