Head of Internal Sales | Nottingham | Salary - £70000 - £75000
Cherry Professional are currently working with a well established and market leading Nottingham based business. As the Head of Internal Sales, you will be a strong leader, coach and strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales and bid management.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure a seamless transition from bid win to contract initiation and handover to the account management team.
- Ensure the integrity of Sales force to improve selling motion efficiency
- Oversee the bid management process, ensuring all bids are compliant, of high quality, and delivered in a timely manner
- Develop and implement bid strategies to win new business and achieve sales targets.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather the necessary information and approvals for bid submissions.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries and companies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer success, marketing and the Consulting practice, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions to clients.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities to the bid and sales teams.
- Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Work closely with the marketing department to align bid submissions with brand messaging and seek methods of digital engagement to automate processes.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of company products/services and how they meet customer needs.
- Regularly report on bid outcomes and internal sales performance to senior
- Experience with CRM and bid management software.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving market conditions
