Streamline Search are currently working with a leading waste to energy and environmental management company with a UK office located in the West Midlands.
Our client has its own manufacturing capability and well-developed supply chain in Europe built up over the last 15 years, and have multiple references throughout from simple parts replacement to complete boiler redesign and retrofits, repurposing from fossil fuels to alternative sustainable fuels.
They have an exciting opportunity to join the business in the position of Head of Sales where you will develop a UK boiler service business focused on waste to energy and biomass boiler and servicing and refurbishing other pressure vessels. Additional onus will also be put on building either a network of relationships with UK based installation companies or forge a partnership to combine competences for customer delivery.
Head of Sales - Position Overview
- Primary responsibility for planning, building relationships and generating services sales for which we will engineer via global engineering operation and produce from our factory and supply chain
- Plan service business yearly sales budget and sales strategy, which shall seek authorised management review and approval;
- Maintains clients' relation as a central senior sales contact of service business;
- Manages and coordinates internal sales effort during sales phase; and leads overall contracts negotiation.
- Working with the European team to prepare cost and price quotations.
- Establishes and implements mechanism assuring effective and efficient sales activities, such as sales SOP of service business.
- Learn and gather knowledge from clients, and distribute them globally for continuous product
- Overseeing project execution for services sales secured in the UK, which requires: -
- Overall project planning and execution for manufacture, delivery and any additional work.
- Develop management progress reports, such as Service business RMR.
Head of Sales - Position Requirements
- Expected to have experience in the UK Pressure parts industry
- A good knowledge of thermal power plant design and arrangement
- An established network of relationships or a desire and commitment to build
- Domestic and international business travel will be required to perform the work duties
Head of Sales- Position Remuneration
- Regular working times: 8:00 - 16:00, Monday to Friday (This may vary)
- Up to £70,000 (Dependent on experience)
- Company Car or Car allowance
