Head of Territory Sales
Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 plus £4,500 car allowance
Location : Hybrid working the successful candidate will be ideally located within the Midlands or London area, however consideration can be given to other areas.

CitySprint have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Territory Sales to join our team.
The successful Head of Territory Sales will be tasked with leading, motivating, and inspiring a high-performing team. Your goal is to foster continuous growth and provide support to the Sales and Marketing Director. Your accountability extends to delivering new business initiatives and ensuring the retention of existing SME customers in our rapidly evolving industry.
The role is critical in developing and deploying Sales strategies to drive revenue growth and maximise profitability through the management of Regional Commercial Managers, Territory Managers, and the Inside Sales team. The ability to lead and implement change will be an important part of the role
Key responsibilities include delivering exceptional service within our existing portfolio through regular business reviews. You will also be responsible for managing an efficient sales pipeline, handling tender and retender submissions, overseeing development projects from conception to implementation, and leading successful contract negotiations, including adeptly navigating price increase discussions.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:-
- Proven successful experience in a similar senior sales leadership role in B2B environment with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- In depth knowledge of sales principles, techniques, and best practises.
- Proven ability to successfully negotiate with SME clients.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and metrics to make informed decisions.
- Demonstrates entrepreneurial mindset whilst considering business processes and accounting principles.
- Results orientates mindset with a focus on driving profitable revenue growth
- Energetic, sales driven and a “can do” attitude combined with excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team
- Effectively collaborate with others to reach mutually agreeable outcomes – whilst always putting Citysprint’s goals first.
- Ability to build successful/strong stakeholder relationships across all functions.
- Demonstrates exceptional customer focus successfully building positive customer relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and have strong organisational skills to prioritize in a fast-paced B2B business environment.
- Ability to identify key data sources and analyse data effectively to improve revenue and margin performance or to support business decisions.
- Dedicated to the success of peers and demonstrates willingness to develop and mentor to create effective succession plans.
- Superior knowledge of CRM’s (preferably Salesforce) and Sales/Sales management tracking databases.
