Your colleagues describe you as enthusiastic, motivational and inspirational in your approach to ensuring that Assessment and interventions are delivered in time and at the high quality needed to meet the complex needs of children and their families.
You play an active part in the delivery of children’s services as part of the management team, helping to implement Family Safeguarding and motivational interviewing as the model of intervention with families, through the construction of a Service Plan for those responsible for their respective areas.
This role reports to Sara, Service Director, who is also new post and recently moved to Peterborough from another local authority. We asked her why:

Like Sara, you are the type of leader that truly enjoys the improvement process – both at a strategic level as an integral part of the challenge of moving a service away from an inadequate rating – and fundamentally as a practitioner who seeks out the very best outcomes for vulnerable children.
This is a full-time role across a five day working week, paying between £75k- £92k per year (depending on experience) and with an attractive LGPS pension scheme amongst other benefits. Peterborough City Council works a hybrid-working model where you will have the opportunity to collaborate and plan alongside colleagues for a minimum two days per week, in the purpose built riverside city centre offices.
