SalaryTurning Passion into Purpose. London South Bank University are excited to be recruiting for the post of Head of Student Accommodation. This is a strategic role, and the post-holder will be expected to facilitate the Executive Board in determining the future design and direction of Student Accommodation, as well as to ensure the provision of an excellent student experience for our residents.
You will be expected to manage the teams of our three Halls of Residence, as well as the Accommodation Office and the Thrive and ResLife teams that operate in the Halls. The Student Accommodation department works closely with the other Student Services departments and with stakeholders from across the university and wider in community to maintain the safety, security and good student experience for all residents.
About You:
We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following:
- Significant experience of managing a multi-site accommodation portfolio or large halls of residence.
- Can demonstrate how they imbed customer service into the day-to-day operational processes and delivery
- Has a full understanding of maintenance and cleaning standards required to keep the premises in optimum condition
- Is fully appraised of all codes of practice, legal and contractual responsibilities relating to accommodation management
- Has a full understanding of Health and Safety and how it is applicable to accommodation operations
- Has managed delegated budgets in the region of £5m and above
