JOB PURPOSE
- Develop and implement strategic marcomms plans to support the awareness and sale of Zentiva’s product portfolio: To produce effective brand strategies to ensure the achievement of sales and profitability targets within a given expenditure level and timescale
- Support in the design of the future of the UK organisation, understanding, reviewing and proposing key growth areas for the future; Providing strategic input to support the business on local industry topics and sector changes, e.g. NHS sustainability, VPAS,
- Oversee the cross-channel commercial product lifecycle; manage the portfolio accordingly, working across business channels to recommend the right solutions for business growth e.g. de-branding,
- Through an understanding of local business processes, drive specific, commercial projects to define go to market plans for key launches; accelerate positive change and efficiencies
KEY RESULTS/ACCOUNTABILITIES
Develop and implement strategic marcomms plans to support the awareness and sale of Zentiva’s product portfolio:
- Create an aligned, omnichannel marcomms strategy for the Branded Gx (including Respiratory) and speciality products
- Collaborate effectively with UK team (marketing, field force, medical) to ensure plan is successfully executed
- With the Marketing & Product Launch Coordinator, manage the relationship and project management with agency, to ensure on time delivery of agreed plan
- Be responsible for the reporting on marketing activities: Develop & review multi-channel KPIs to measure the success of any content / materials / programmes developed and use this data to continually improve offerings and performance
- Regularly review plan progress and develop & implement systems and processes that drive excellence in execution
Support in the design of the future of the UK organisation, understanding, reviewing and proposing key growth areas for the future; Provide strategic input to support the business on local industry topics and sector changes, e.g. NHS sustainability, VPAS,
- Support in shaping the UK business roadmap; Develop timely presentations to relay business performance
- Lead the story telling for internal budget, LE processes; develop a clear understanding of business performance and articulate the plan accordingly
- Review company’s strategic direction, translate into FPP planning and TSC reviews, to upwardly communicate to investors
- Act as the company brand & comms guardian, overseeing all formal external communication; where necessary prepare UK -specific press releases, in liaison with corporate HQ
- Ensure the continued representation of the business in key BGMA discussions;
- Relay the insight and feedback internally and ensure business readiness on strategic topics, eg NHS / ESG; Lead the ESG and Carbon Reduction Plan development as a business critical initiative, in liaison with Group colleagues
- Possess a clear understanding of data protection laws; support in the marketing communications plan for Branded Gx
Oversee the commercial product lifecycle; manage the portfolio accordingly, working across business channels to recommend the right solutions for business growth e.g., de-branding
- Model cross-channel de-branding strategies and sales strategies to optimise business growth and inform the decision making process
- To develop and implement portfolio tactics and strategies for designated customer channels in order to meeting commercial goals
- Offer guidance for pricing and opportunities, in liaison with Legal and within the legal and regulatory framework of the UK
- Ensure appropriate product segmentation strategies are in place and brought to life;
Through an understanding of local business processes, drive specific, commercial projects to accelerate positive change and efficiency
- In liaison with Legal, periodically review and draft contracts relating to customer spend targets; work in close liaison with wholesaler
- Model opportunities and harness additional customer channels, e.g. extension of Dispensing doctors schemes
- Support in the review of statutory pricing submissions, providing qualitative and quantitative insight when necessary, to the DoH
- Using knowledge of the business mechanics, perform contract reviews for all new commercial operations
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Strong commercial acumen
- Experience of sales and Marketing in the Branded Gx sector
- Existing marketing experience within the pharmaceutical arena; working knowledge of commercial, marketing, regulatory functions.
- Excellent working knowledge of the NHS
- Driven, team-player, tenacious, ethical and adaptable
- Excellent project management skills
- Excellent excel and business analytical skills
- Ability to persuade and progress projects through other people over whom there is no direct line management control.
