We are looking for a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to cover maternity.
The hospital is excellently equipped with complex ultrasound, laparoscopic stack system, endoscope, full in-house lab, separate dog and cat wards, isolation area and two operating theatres.
Salary of £32,500 per year
- 4-day week with 1:6 weekends
- £750 CPD allowance with 2-days CPD leave and in-house CPD available
- Plus, fantastic internal CPD available!
- RCVS, BVNA and VDS fees paid
- 5 weeks paid annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rata)
Role Accountabilities
- Nursing/discharge of in-patients, prioritising patient welfare and care
- Nurse consultations
- Ensuring compliance with RCVS scheme
- Running in house lab samples and organising repeat prescriptions
- Supporting your SVN/PCA’s in practice
Your Skills and Experience
- RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse
- Approachable with clear communication skills
- Team player!
- Customer focused, continuing to build strong relationships with our clients
- Clinical coaching experience / willingness to become clinical coach
