Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Safety Instructor to join our team based in Leicester.

As a Health and Safety Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs to educate employees on workplace safety practices and procedures. This is a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our workforce and maintaining compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and deliver engaging training programs on various Health and Safety topics, including but not limited to: hazard identification, emergency response, personal protective equipment (PPE), and workplace ergonomics

- Conduct thorough assessments of training needs within the organization

- Create instructional materials such as presentations, handouts, and quizzes

- Utilize effective teaching techniques to engage participants and promote active learning

- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding Health and Safety concerns or questions

- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving workplace safety culture

- Conduct incident investigations and root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement

- Prepare detailed reports on training activities, participant performance, and program evaluations

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Health and Safety Instructor or similar role

- In-depth knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and best practices

- Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex

- Holds NEBOSH qualifications

Shift pattern:

Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm or 9am-5pm

Pay rates £17.00 p/h

The role will also involve driving between two site within 5 miles away from each other so you will need do have own tranport to be suitable for the role.
