People Services Team Leader

About this role This is a permanent People Services Team Leader role working with a variety of stakeholders in a fast paced, friendly, and supportive environment.  The role of People Services Team Leader is to support the delivery of an efficient, legally compliant, timely, accurate and proactive query-handling advice service. This will include robust and supportive case management of routine employee relations cases and issues (i.e. absence, probation and conduct) in collaboration with managers across UWE. As the HR Service Delivery Team Leader you will support a team of People Services Assistants and co-ordinate workload across the People Services Advice Team. The team is the first point of contact for HR policy process, procedure and advice on a wide range of employment related issues. The cover is provided on a flexible rota basis and this role will also provide cover as necessary. About you You don’t have to have worked in Higher Education to apply for this role, but you will possess experience of effectively managing complex queries and employee relations caseloads in an HR environment within a large, complex organisation. You will also have experience in supporting, coaching and mentoring colleagues, looking for innovative ways in which we can provide a comprehensive service to our community.  Where is this role based?
