Job Description
Drive safety culture in the business, developing systems and policies across the group.
Keep up to date with legislation and review best practices to ensure systems and procedures and in line with legal requirements
Work with key stakeholders to ensure adoption of continuous improvement and best practice principles.
Working with aligned teams across Property Services to ensure compliance requirements are being met.
Ensure Risk Assessment and Incident systems are in place and followed. Manage accidents, incidents and near misses.
Deliver or procure HSE training and identifying risks. Chair Regional H&S committee meetings.
Manage direct reports and create skills development.Communicate and produce reports for the SLT on HSE.
Create group wide communication to promote and spread Health and Safety awareness.
Develop, maintain and stress test business continuity planning.
Create risk assessment, impact analysis and business continuity plans
Plan training and testing, working with key stakeholder teams to ensure key strategies such as Disaster Recovery.

The Successful Applicant
Health and Safety experience within a professional services environment.
Experience leading or operating in a Senior role.
NEBOSH or NCRQ Diploma is essential. Membership of IOSH.
A clear and robust knowledge of the HSE legislation and best practice.
Excellent people skills, communication in particular with the ability to work with people at all levels including the ability to report information to SLT/Board level.
You must be able to visit sites across the UK on an approximate monthly periodical basis, and there is likely to be international travel roughly every 3 to 6 months.
