Package:

• Up to GBP45k per annum (depending on experience)

The Client:

We are working with a successful manufacturing business in Wolverhampton who are at an exciting point in their organisational journey. They have a new, exciting opening for Health and Safety Manager to join them and take responsibility for the driving and executing the Health and Safety strategy across the business.

As the Health & Safety Manager you will be getting involved in:

• Supporting the site teams in the promotion and delivery of Health and Safety strategies and culture
• Working closely with operational teams ensuring any potential risks and hazards are identified and addressed
• Support with the implementation of standards throughout all sites
• Utilising your expertise to guide, advise and drive safe working practices
• Maintaining the Health & Safety Management systems and ensuring any additions / amendments are actioned
• Supporting in the construction and delivery of any Health and Safety training
• Carrying out internal audits
• Effectively managing the accident and near miss reporting and investigations process

To be successful in this role you will need:

• NEBOSH Level 3 qualification will be essential
• Previous experience in a senior H&S position such as Health & Safety Manager / Health & Safety Officer / Health & Safety Advisor
• Experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous
• Full UK Driving Licence will be essential
