Health And Safety Officer

Our trusted partner client has created this brand new role due to their continued growth and success; it's a wonderful time to join an already successful company with this role helping to ensure it is all sustainable and protected with their Health and Safety policies.

A job that has been done previously by other members of the team, we're looking for an out and out specialist to dedicate their time, making the job their own and coming up with new ideas and policies to ensure compliance within a bustling business.

The main responsibilities:

• Remaining fully aware of current and future Health and Safety legislation, advising management of relevant changes as well as any implications for the business.
• Reporting all accidents and near misses, and creating and reviewing risk assessments.
• Ensuring up-to-date training certificates and badges are uploaded to the company website.
• Encouraging other employees to adopt relevant Health and Safety processes by building relationships and explaining the benefits of these processes.
• Managing ISO14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 45003 whilst supporting on ISO 9001.
• Completing regular audits with external auditors of risk areas, compliance and that safety legislation is being adhered to.
