Job Role: Health & Safety Supervisor (Manufacturing)
Salary: £35k per annum
Shift: Monday - Friday Day Shift
As a Health and Safety Supervisor, you will be a huge part of the warehouse' operation, ensuring that a safe and healthy work environment is consistent for all employees. You will oversee safety protocols, conduct inspections, and provide training to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
Requirements:
- Good general education with a minimum of 5 GCSE passes or equivalent
- NEBOSH qualification
- IEMA Foundation Environmental qualification (or willing to study towards)
- Good working knowledge of: Quality Assurance, Product Developments, H&S/Environmental controls and waste streams and workstation SOPs for all employees
- Experience working in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
- Experience of knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 22301

Duties:
- As a Health and Safety Supervisor, you will effectively manage ALL EH&S non-conformities raised across the company, working with all internal departments as required to identify root causes and drive out errors.
- To keep up to date with relevant standards, regulations/legislation, issues, and news within our industry and market sector. To gather, compile and interpret business data, making recommendations to the management team in relation to actions required.
- To actively promote a culture of Health and Safety throughout the site and warehouse, chairing the monthly and quarterly EH&S meetings, generating minutes and action points.
- To liaise with contractors, consultants and enforcement bodies as the company representative on EH&S matters.
- To source or deliver training within the warehouse on relevant topics to employees as required to meet recognised/acceptable standards, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
