AddressWe have an exciting opportunity for an Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at Corby Urgent Care Centre.
The job holder will have to work under the supervision of the registered professional, delivering high standard care in a safe environment that meets the patients needs, whilst maintaining privacy and dignity. The Healthcare Assistant (HCA) will work as part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) to support the smooth running of the urgent care service, aiding the clinical team and providing advice and care to patients whilst developing new skills.

What we're looking for
- Clinical assessment skills and qualification or extensive experience in one or more of the following: General practice/minor illness; Walk in centre, A&E experience/minor injury unit or Ambulance Service
- Experience of working in telephone triage/assessment environment (desirable)
- Advanced clinical assessment skills including history taking/clinical examination
- Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to assimilate large quantities of information quickly and accurately and communicate it clearly
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Able to use information technology and communications equipment efficiency
- Able to work effectively under pressure whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

About Corby Urgent Care Centre
Corby Urgent Care Centre offers a high standard of unscheduled care from early morning to late evening for patients attending with a wide variety of undifferentiated conditions.
The centre is staffed primarily by our team of experienced urgent care clinicians with additional support from other clinical and non-clinical members of staff.
The team is made up of a mixed MDT including GP,s Advanced Practitioners, Nurses and Urgent Care Technicians. The team is also supported by the Non Clinical team. They all work together to create a positive and rewarding workplace environment for colleagues delivering a high-quality experience for patients.
