Service Manager (CSA Service)
Permanent with funding 30 hours per week.Location : Nottinghamshire
£34,837 per annum / pro rata £29,860.35 (plus allowances)
The Children's Society are looking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced manager to lead and manage our Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) therapy service.
Our Nottinghamshire CSA Service will be one of four teams located in the East Midlands. The service will work with young people aged up to 18 years old who have experienced sexual harm. The range of specialist therapeutic interventions include, but is not limited to, Art and Play Therapy, Trauma Informed cognitive behaviour therapy, individual psychotherapeutic, psychoeducation sessions or psychoanalytical therapy and counselling, all tailored to the needs of the child based on clinical judgement.

This role sits within our children and young people directorate, which works to provide immediate one-to-one and group support for children who urgently need support. Your role will be to help us lead and manage our CSA therapy service. Leading a team of Counsellor's and therapist's to provide Counselling or therapeutic interventions for Children and Young People living in Nottinghamshire who have been referred to the East Midlands and Young People's Sexual Assault Service.
We are currently looking for a passionate and experienced person to join our dynamic, ambitious team.
A key part of this role will be your ability to: -
-To lead a team of Counsellors/Therapists in developing and maintaining effective practice and delivery of therapeutic support to children and young people.
-To plan, allocate and manage workload and resources, ensuring oversight of all cases is maintained at all times.
-To support and manage Staff practice and performance, through supervision, performance reviews and personal development plans.
-To actively engage in all Safeguarding issues in line with The Children's Society Safeguarding Framework.
-To be responsible for ensuring practice and case recording are in in line with organisational policy and procedures.
-To work with key partners and develop pathways
Experience
-Relevant experience in working with child sexual abuse and exploitation
-Supervision and Management of staff
-Extensive safeguarding knowledge and experience
-Project/service management
Qualifications
Relevant professional qualification such as, Diploma in Counselling or Psychotherapy, Psychology, or Mental Health Nursing and or significant relevant experience.
Must be BACP, HCPC, Pre-Trial Therapy trained or equivalent
