DESCRIPTION
As the Healthcare Data Platform Sales lead you will be responsible for pursuing new business opportunities within the UK healthcare sector to establish AWS as the leading technology platform provider.
You will spearhead AWS's Data Platform sales efforts within targeted NHS accounts, healthcare organizations, and technology partners. Your role will be to pursue opportunities, engage decision makers, evaluate prospects, and accelerate AWS adoption.
Ideal candidates will be self-starters with a relentless hunger to hunt new logos. You'll need to be comfortable operating in ambiguity and navigating complex organizational dynamics. Most importantly, you'll enjoy the challenge of overcoming objections and driving deals to closure through assertive Business Development.
Key job responsibilities
- Identifying and qualifying new prospects through outbound outreach
- Setting new business quotas and driving the sales pipeline
- Developing value propositions and customized sales presentations tailored to each opportunity
- Persuading CXO-level stakeholders through impactful sales presentations
- Facilitating proof of concepts, pilots, and customer implementations
- Tracking progress against forecasts and adjusting tactics as needed
- Owning opportunities from initial contact through to project initiation

About the team
This role sits in the NHS team, which is part of the wider UK Healthcare team in UK Public Sector.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree required or equivalent experience.
- Experience of working with either the UK Public Sector healthcare
- Significant experience in project and programme management, with sales or Business Development in the IT industry
- Experience developing and executing ambitious go to market plans through partners/channels
- Operating skills (forecasting, pipeline management, account planning, business cadence)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
In depth understanding of the NHS data ecosystem would be a plus.
