The shift pattern is rotational days and night shifts over 7 days (34.5 hours).

As part of a multidisciplinary team the post holder will provide care to patients in support of the trained nurse and will regularly work unsupervised. The unit has 14 beds, made up of emergency and elective orthopaedic patients. The ward also takes Respiratory patients who are on NIV. High quality care is delivered in a safe and supportive environment, which meets identified physical and psychosocial needs. A family centred approach to care is adopted at all times.
