About the role:
Highway Operations require a Highways Inspector with good broad based experience of highways maintenance, knowledge of scheduling and programming highway works and repairs. Knowledge to determine appropriate repair solutions.
Requests from customers.
Produce daily, weekly and annual work programmes.
About you:
- Experience of highway maintenance work.
- Experience in Scheduling & programming.
- Full Driving Licence.
- Effective communicator verbally and written.
- Complete Highways Inspectors Training.
- Complete H&S SSSTS.
- Experience of working in a Local government environment.
What you will do:
- Undertake programmed and reactive highway inspections and surveys.
- Respond to reports, complaints and service requests.
- Prepare daily, weekly and annual work programmes.
- Investigate and respond to 3rd party claims.
- Take part in the Out of hours standby Rota supervising winter maintenance gritting and emergencies.
- Supervise Highway works.
