SalaryAcademic Appointments Ltd is currently working with Leeds partner Academy to recruit a dedicated History Teacher. This is a full-time History Teacher placement from February 2024 until Easter Half Term, with the opportunity to be extended.
The successful candidate will be teaching History up to A Level and will have responsibility for their own exam classes.
This is a ‘Good’ rated school, based in Leeds, where students of all ages are respectful towards each other and adults. They behave well, feel safe and have a very clear understanding how to keep themselves safe. Bullying is rare. Students are well cared for.
Requirements:
- QTS or relevant teaching qualification
- Well qualified with an honours degree in relevant subject
- 2 x references from educational establishments
- Evidence of an exemplary track record
- A passion for success and quality teaching
- An Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service

Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience and payroll method.
