Principal Resourcing are seeking a confident and organised History Teacher to work in one of our diverse partnership Secondary Schools based in Kirklees, West Yorkshire.
The full-time role is available with immediate start and will initially be until the Easter half term, with the possibility of extension for the right applicant. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality history lessons to pupils across the KS3/KS4 curriculum, PPA time will be allocated accordingly.
The Secondary School aims to ensure a secure, welcoming and engaging learning environment, in which all students learn to value and respect themselves and others. The staff team work hard to provide a curriculum that initiates students into the knowledge, values, attitudes and skills they need to become mature Christian adults in their personal, social, family and working lives.
We welcome applications from ECT’s and experienced Teachers. You can expect to be paid up to £230 per day depending upon your experience and the role requirements.
Skills and attributes:
- Relevant qualifications - QTS Teaching qualification (PGCE, SCITT, MEd, Cert. Ed etc.) or equivalent
- Previous experience of delivering curriculum subjects up to GCSE and A-Level
- A proactive team member, committed to raising standards and achievement
