Licensing and Enforcement Officer required to work with the Belfast City Council based in Belfast City Centre. This is a temporary post for a minimum of 3 months, with a pay rate of £16.12 per hour. The hours of work will be 9am - 5:30pm Monday - Friday. The successful candidate will start immediately.
The main duties of this role will be to ensure the Council follows all related laws, conducting inspections surveys and interviews to enforce HMO licensing for all councils in Northern Ireland, validate applications, handle complaints about anti-social behaviour, handle complaints about unlicensed HMOs, and prepare reports and evidence for potential enforcement actions.
What We Need From You:
Full current driving licence
3rd level qualification in a relevant subject; waste management, law, environmental
2 years’ legislative experience
