SalaryWe are now looking for a Evening and occasional Nights Receptionist to join the team at Quebecs Luxury Apartments, Leeds City Square.
You are the first impression a guest will have upon arrival at the hotel so providing a warm, friendly, helpful welcome is essential. Please note this is not an Administration/office role it is first of all a customer service role in the Hotel industry. Therefore, the role is suitable for an individual seeking flexible shift work, working any 5 days from 7, with shift times typically being 2.30pm-10.30pm and cover some night shifts 10.30pm - 7.00am.
Candidates who do not complete the skills test will not be considered.
Job Responsibilities:
- Welcoming guests
- Checking in and check out guests
- Carrying out requests
- Making reservations
- Handling guest billing and payments
- Provide a consistently excellent level of guest service in ensuring that all guests receive special attention and recognition.
- To be knowledgeable with local area, events, restaurants, attractions and to be able to offer this information to our guests pro-actively
- To understand health & safety and fire regulations
To be successful in this role, you must be able to multitask effectively whilst delivering excellent customer service.
Candidate Requirements:
- Be of a friendly and polite disposition
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Be computer literate
- Able to work shifts, weekends and Bank Holidays
- Able to work independently with little or no supervision
- Work experience in the Hotel industry (desirable)
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £11.75 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
