**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk, handling incoming calls, and providing administrative support.
**Duties:**
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Maintain a tidy reception area
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail
- Manage bookings, check in and check out
- Assist with clerical tasks such as data entry and filing
- Use Opera PMS system (changing later this year) Full training given.
- Handle office equipment and supplies inventory
- Support all front of house tasks as part of a small team, i.e table service and drinks service.
**Qualifications:**
- Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
Previous Hotel Reception experience and or in an office setting preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities
- Basic accounting duties including balancing shift work.
- Ability to type efficiently
- Familiarity with basic administrative tasks
- Capability to computerize information accurately
This position offers the opportunity to develop administrative skills in a professional office environment.
- Five days over seven with weekend work on a rolling rota basis. Approximate 8 hour shifts .
- Early shift starts at 7am
- Late shift finish - 11pm
- Two days off per week
Job Type: Zero hours contract
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 39 per week
