Housing Disrepair Team Leader/Litigator

Friendly law firm with offices across the North West is seeking a Housing Disrepair Team Leader/Litigator to join their team.

As the ideal candidate, you will possess excellent leadership skills and the ability to support and develop team members. Patience and a collaborative approach are essential qualities for this role.

Initially based in Liverpool, the role will be relocated to St Helens in the summer. This presents an exciting opportunity to be part of an expanding team and contribute to the growth and success of the practice.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team of Housing Disrepair litigators.
• Handle a caseload of Housing Disrepair litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Conduct legal research, prepare legal documents, and represent clients in court hearings.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure effective case management and client representation.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of strong Housing Disrepair litigation experience.
• Experience in managing or leading a small team.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
