SalaryElevate Projects are working in partnership with our client to appoint a Housing Officer position based in Stroud.
The Housing Officers core responsibilities will consist of:
Managing a designated patch of properties, ensuring homes are lived in, investigate non-occupancy
Participate in community based events, supporting tenant engagement
Liaise with internal services and external agencies, ensuring appropriate care and support packages are offered to vulnerable tenants.
Monitor, identify and act on any cases of tenancy fraud and safeguarding
Engaging and supporting tenants with ongoing rent and debt recovery.
Supporting and achieving performance and service targets set within the housing service.
Candidates must have skills and knowledge in:
Debt and income recovery
Tenancy management and enforcement
Expertise dealing with people in challenging situations
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Great knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation.
All candidates will require an Enhanced DBS and a Driver license
