About the role


We have an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience of working in the housing sector, preferably with experience of Homelessness. It is important that the candidate is enthusiastic, has an ability to show empathy, and passionate about improving outcomes for the customer.


We are looking for a person who has the drive to provide a pro-active approach to housing and the prevention and relief of homelessness.


What we need from you


We are seeking an individual who ideally have experience of the working at a professional level, demonstrating competency of the Housing & Homelessness Act as you will be providing a housing options service to our customers giving guidance on a range of housing related matters.


You will have excellent communication and customer-care skills and the ability to work flexibly, as part of a busy team.


You will need experience of undertaking case work with vulnerable clients. Being able to deliver good customer service and coping well under pressure and dealing with difficult situations.


You will have the ability to listen and empathise with clients including those with a range of disabilities, both physical and mental health problems and where English is not their first language.


You will be able to accurately record factual information; and accurately relaying policy or guidance whilst remaining objective and conscientious.


You will need to participate in meetings with clients or partnerships and demonstrate credibility and confidence to our stakeholders.
