We are looking for interim cover to manage our Housing Repairs and Home Improvement teams, initially on a 3 month contract. The council has circa 4200 tenanted properties and carries out much of the work inhouse.
The role requires a minimum of 3 days a week office/site based working.
To ensure all work is completed to the required standards and in accordance with all relevant legislation, in particular Health and Safety and CDM regulations.
Responsible for managing team leaders and chargehand (who manage the craft operative), along with back office colleagues and contractors.
