Housing Solicitor

Eventus Legal is seeking a Housing Solicitor to join a driven and supportive investment company, tackling all legal matters relating to housing. This is a permanent, full-time job position based in Central London. Role Responsibilities

The incoming Housing Solicitor role will receive the opportunity to cultivate and advance a lasting career within a reputable organisation. This job involves serving as a Housing Solicitor for a large investment house for a private UK real estate fund, tasked with stabilising its portfolio. You will be able to build strong relationships with existing clients and referrers and be able to manage a varied caseload of:

• Forfeiting or surrendering properties
• Reclaiming possession
• Drafting leases
• SPAs
• Purchase and sales due diligence
• Property development documentation
• Contentious evictions

Person Specification

Applications are sought from confident, experienced Housing Solicitors from a practice or housing association/public sector background with 5 years’ PQE. A strong commercial outlook and a desire to develop a generalist skillset. The firm also is looking for the following skills and experience:

• Experience of litigation within the UK investment space
• Social housing experience
• The ability to influence and motivate others, cultivating law firm relationships, monitoring cost and value for money
• Experience in UK private fund space
• Interaction with the FCA
• Strong organisation and administrative skills
• Outstanding communication skills and high professional standards
