Housing Standards Officer

VNA Recruitment are currently searching for a Housing Standards Officer for our client based in Derby. The main duties of the role are:

• Inspecting dwellings and enforcing statutory provisions to ensure compliance with the authorities' stautory obligations, and provide guidance to landlords
• Preapring, monitoring and authorising legal and other documentation
• Gathering, analysing, co-ordinating and interpreting data to support the improvement of efficiency and effectiveness to maintain public safety and support landlords
• Developing, delivering and maintaining effective training for internal and external customers and partners
• Keeping up-to-date with relevant legislation, standards, guidance, and other information
