The exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and experienced administrator to join our HR team, to support in providing a national HR administration service to the business. The successful candidate will be working within the HR team and going through a major change programme, supporting the team in all aspects of HR administration
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Administration of all starters, leavers, transfers and employee changes, ensuring correspondence is issued accordingly
Respond to email and telephone queries regarding all HR administration processes
Responsible for updating the HR system; ensuring the accuracy of the information
To manage pre employment screening process for new starters, role changes and support any audit activity
To process all reference requests
Focus on simple, clear processes for the business to follow
Work on SLA's as set for the HR administration
Work closely with the wider HR function to create a strong effective HF function
Involvement in HR projects as appropriate
Process reviews; providing feedback on process that are not fit f or purpose
Always maintain excellent filing procedures, with key focus on data accuracy and
adherence to policies
To maintain knowledge of statutory employment legislation
Qualifications & Experience
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Strong IT skills-in particular the use of Microsoft packages, i-Trent and other electronic filing systems
Experience of carrying out HR administration tasks and processes i.e. processing contracts, onboarding procedures, disclosure processing etc
Track record of managing sensitive and confidential information, adhering to GDPR
Data Handling - strong technical skills able to deliver fast and reliable data entry ensuring high quality
Previous experience in office/HR environment
Educated to GCSE or equivalent level
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders to resolve problem
