Our client is a London law firm with growing UK presence who were recently shortlisted for the ‘Law firm of the Year’ Awards, they are now looking for a bright and pro-active HR Administrator to join their growing and busy team in their London offices on a permanent basis.
The main responsibility for the HR Administrator will be to support the HR team in providing a high quality, professional service by maintaining accurate HR information and carrying-out efficient administration of HR processes. Reporting to the HR Business Partners within the team.
Duties will include:
- Assisting with the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date staff and Partner files, HR system information and recruitment records.
- Managing recruitment administration for Staff and Partner vacancies e.g. liaison with agencies, circulating CVs, arranging interviews, advertising roles and preparing offer documentation.
- Managing administration for future employees including maintaining contact with them, overseeing reference and background checks, ensuring all pre-joining documentation is complete and organise the induction process.
- The creation of reports using Cascade and the provision of management reports and information.
- Helping assist in the research and administration of the salary review process and the budgeting process.
- Providing administrative assistance to the HR Director including diary management and document production.
- Providing day-to-day internal & external training course administration, including enquiries, liaising with delegates, checking room bookings, equipment requirements and working with the trainers/facilitators to ensure that everything runs smoothly on the day.
The HR Administrator will ideally have previous administrative/office experience possessing strong IT skills including Excel, Word and Powerpoint and a strong academic background. Previous experience of using a database or an interest in technology, running reports and using IT to improve the efficiency of the department would be advantageous. The right candidate will be a self-starter, build strong relationships at all levels and have a flexible hands-on approach.
It is essential to demonstrate good time management skills, a proven ability to multi-task and excellent verbal and written communication skills. have a positive, flexible attitude, with excellent attention to detail and work seamlessly with various teams.
