This is a fantastic opportunity to embark on a career in HR, our client is looking for an HR Administrator to join the HR, HR experience is not essential but you will have previous Administration experience. This is an office-based role, assisting the HR Manager with organising interviews, coordinating assessment days, onboarding new starters, HR Administration etc. This role will also include being Reception Support / Front Of House.
Salary is £27,000. Hours of work - Mon - Fri 8.30-5.00pm (I hour lunch) Benefits include - 25 days holidays, plus bank hols and Xmas off. Free travel pass for bus / tram or on-site city centre parking (the parking levy is £5 per week)
OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
- Recruitment Admin - Posting job adverts, coordinating assessment days, new starter packs, organising interviews, and offer letters/contracts
- Liaising with candidates by phone and email
- Undertaking pre-employment checks
- Maintaining HR database, inputting sickness and absences
- Note-taking at employee relations meetings
- First point of contact for all visitors at the Reception
- Liaising with couriers and the post office
- Ad-hoc office administration

- Previous Administration experience is essential
- Happy to cover with ad-hoc administration and cover on Reception
