As an HR Advisor, you are passionate about crafting exceptional colleague experiences and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture. You will be leading the inductions, so you will be the welcoming face to our new starters!
In this exciting role you will be involved in all aspects of HR:
- Utilize People Tools and enablers to implement the People Plan effectively.
- Ensure a seamless colleague lifecycle experience through strategic HR initiatives.
- Empower managers to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers for an efficient attraction and selection process.
- Own the on-boarding process, ensuring a great start for all colleagues.
- Provide ongoing coaching, tracking, and advice throughout a 90-day starter program.
- Support managers in identifying colleague talent needs and development opportunities.
- Advise on engagement, performance, and retention activities.
- Collaborate on early careers strategies, including IHG academy and apprenticeships.
- Offer guidance and support to managers and colleagues on HR queries.
- Coach managers in mediating and mitigating arising issues to enhance the colleague experience.
- Utilize HR systems for data management and insights compilation.
- Own and deliver IHG Colleague surveys, including administration and action planning.
- Ensure consistent implementation of IHG HR policies.
- Assign tasks and monitor progress against performance metrics set by the manager.
- Drive improvements in processes, systems, and products.
- Solve multiple, undefined problems spanning various workflows.
- Identify and address training gaps for continuous improvement.
To succeed as our HR Advisor, you will need:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a generalist HR role, ideally in an operational environment.
- Experience in a retail, hospitality, or service organization is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated functional experience with a strong knowledge of relevant HR topics.
