You will be CIPD Level 5 qualified and eager to embrace a new challenge with a really supportive manager. Employment Law knowledge is a must. You will also have the chance to mentor an apprentice.
HR Advisor / Manager
up to 30,000 per annum DOE
Full time, permanent position working Monday-Friday, please note this position is fully office based. CIPD Level 5 required.
The Role:
- Provide all HR Administrative support as required to ensure the business meets all targets and remains compliant
- Oversee all recruitment and selection administration, such as candidate liaison, shortlisting, advert placement, and approval of application criteria for the recruitment
- Processing appointment of new starters, including compliance checks and proactive liaison with recruiting managers.
- To be able to support staff with any questions or concerns they may have with sound understanding to give support and advice
- Issuing of the most appropriate contracts for all staff
- Process resignations and retirements.
- Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms
- Participate in all HR related events, such as job fairs etc
- Be the primary contact for queries on the HR systems (PEERS) and ensure it is maintained
- Assist in formal meetings, such as employee disciplinaries and grievances
Skills Required:
- Ability to remain calm and perform well in a pressurised environment
- Be self-aware: know your strengths and development needs and look for ways to develop
- Highly organised and able to prioritise multiple workloads
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to be a visible and approachable member of the team
