Day to day duties
- Provide excellent HR advise, support and guidance to staff on a day to day basis
- Coach line managers on best practice people management and will work closely with the Regional HR Manager for the region to drive HR plans and appropriate actions
- Provide sound advice on ER matters including disciplinaries, grievances, probation reviews and issues, maternity, paternity etc.
- Guide and support administration duties of the HR team, providing support to the team, as necessary. Duties include; starter and leaver processes, maintaining staff records, conducting exit interviews, updating absence records, offer letters, contracts, supporting payroll activities etc.
What are we looking for?
- Studying or qualified to Level 7 CIPD
- Proven experience working in a busy generalist HR team with knowledge of the intricacies of HR and the impact on a business
- Pro-active approach with an ability to work autonomously
