Due to the continued success of the agency, we are looking for an HR Advisor to join the People & Culture Team. The main purpose of the role will be to provide guidance and advice to employees and managers on a wide range of HR topics, such as recruitment, employee relations, benefits and performance management. The successful candidate will also be responsible for all employee life cycle administration and work closely with the People & Culture Director on transformational projects such as the implementation of an HR System and international hiring. This role would suit a candidate who has significant HR administration experience and is ready for the next step in their HR career.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruitment: Support managers with the recruitment of team members including drafting job adverts, liaising with agencies, communicating with candidates, attending interviews and ensuring that the employer brand is present throughout every process.
- Onboarding: Responsible for onboarding activity ensuring that all documentation has been returned/processed and induction plans are in place.
- HR Advice: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance and support on a wide range of HR issues.
- HR System / Administration: Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the HR system ensuring tasks are actioned, workflows and task lists are reviewed, and new functionality is explored.
- Ensure that all wellbeing related activity (e.g. new starter questionnaires, information about wellbeing support etc) is completed.
- Support the People & Culture Director with employee engagement and DEI activities including employee surveys.
- Work with the People and Culture Director on key projects such as system or process implementation.
SKILS & EXPERIENCE
- Candidates will have extensive experience of working in an HR administration or support role (ideally within a commercial environment).
- Whilst an expert level of advisory experience is not essential for this role, candidates should have experience of providing basic HR advice.
- Experience of using an HR system is essential, as is a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Candidates will have excellent communication skills, including the ability to listen and articulate problems and solutions, and to interact with all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent time management skills, high attention to detail and the ability to work independently are also essential.
