Introduction to the role:
As HR Advisor you will be advising and providing guidance to line managers on HR Best Practice, legal compliance and company policy. Working pro-actively to minimise employee relations casework and outstanding workload.

Key responsibilities:
- Providing HR/employment advice to line managers across the full spectrum of employee relations issues.
- Coaching managers so they can effectively manage any people issues both informally and formally.
- Supporting managers and employees on HR processes including redundancy and TUPE.
- Reviewing HR processes and making recommendations for changes.
- Assist in exit interviews and maintain the retention database.
- Analysing data and creating presentations for the SMT.
- Maintain communication and collaboration with key departments.
- Assisting with policy reviews and making recommendations for changes.
- Involvement in any ad-hoc HR projects as required
Essential Skill Set & Experience Required:
- Strong HR experience with exposure to ER issues.
- Excellent understanding of employment law.
- Experience of ER case management.
- Experience of writing and amending ER policies.
- Good judgement and problem-solving skills
- A calm and professional manner.
- Excellent coaching skills.
- Able to organise and prioritise a caseload within a fast paced environment.
- Flexibility in approach and willingness to work outside of normal office hours, if required.
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or equivalent as a minimum requirement).
Desirable:
- Previous experience of working with a Health & Social care provider.
- Level 7 CIPD qualification is preferred.
