HR Advisor (Full or Part time)

My client is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their friendly and ambitious team. Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for guiding and developing the management team with a full range of employee relations. You will also be the focal point for all team members to assist with any HR enquiries. You will:
- Be responsible for managing the recruitment process for new starters which includes advertising, reviewing applications and attending interviews
- Assist the management team with reviewing the current interview processes to make these more effective
- Be responsible for the onboarding process for new employees which includes, reference checks, contracts and induction training
- Communicate with the international HR department and assist with any new or ongoing HR projects
- Maintain effective relationships with employees, managers and stakeholders
- Support management with all employee relations such as performance reviews, disciplinaries, training and development
- Build a strong company culture and healthy work environment
- Ensure the company is compliant within health and safety within the work environment
- Providing advice and assistance on policies, procedures and legislation
- Update and maintain the HR Platform
- Assist the management team with the staff rotas to ensure adequate allocation for the workload
- At times be required to visit other UK sites to assist with HR guidance and support
The ideal candidate will:
- Have solid experience within a HR Advisor role
- Have strong knowledge of HR legislation and have the ability to support an organisation with this
- Ideally have strong knowledge on promoting health and safety within a workplace
- Have strong experience within learning and development
- Be a strong communicator and have the ability to support up to stakeholder level
- Work well independently but also an effective team player
- Have excellent communication skill, both verbal, face to face and written
- Have strong attention to detail
- Be a car driver
Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm. This can be a full time or part time role.
