Owing to growth a public service authority is looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their People Team for an immediate start!
The candidate must be CIPD Qualified with experience in all HR transactional processes and managing casework. Supporting the wider HR Team and the Senior management team, the person must be able to work on their own initiative to work well in a team environment.
Essential Criteria:
Full CIPD qualification (Level 7 Advanced Qualification)
Skills required:
Competent on HR Systems, Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to organise and prioritise workload.
Able to support managers in planning change and implementing HR interventions to
overcome workplace challenges
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders (written and verbal)
Understanding of Local Government
To be able to assess information and confidently make decisions on an
appropriate course of action
Proven track record of compiling reports or Policies
Demonstrate a sound knowledge of employment law issues
Committed to equality and diversity
Ability to work collaboratively across service areas on all aspects of HR
with flexibility and autonomy.
Experience delivering HR Projects and working on deliverables of a Corporate People
Strategy Commercial awareness of delivering HR processes and projects within
budgets and deadlines.
The Candidate must have a full, clean driving licence and use of a call as site case visits will be required
