This role requires you to be DBS checked.
Our client in Northampton is seeking an efficient HR & Recruitment Advisorto join their established HR team.
You will be working alongside the HR Manager supporting with all recruitment and selection matters as well as providing first line guidance to internal stakeholders.
This role requires someone who is open minded with a "can do" attitude that is willing to chip in and help the team.
This would suit a recruiter who is keen to gain training & experience with HR matters.
Duties and responsibilities for the HR & Recruitment Advisor role include:
- To develop and maintain good working relationships with all staff to support their recruitment
- To develop and update Job/Person Specifications as required
- To place adverts on a range of advertising media
- To work closely with the internal design team and external advertising agency
- To coordinate interview and selection events, ensuring candidates receive timely communications and enjoy a positive experience
- To organise, facilitate and attend recruitment events such as Recruitment Events, Careers Fairs
- Ensure offer paperwork is authorised, processed and issued
- To update and enter information onto the HR system
- Provide first line guidance on ER matters
Skills and experience required for the HR & Recruitment Advisorrole:
- Experience of working with a HR or Recruitment team
- To be a superfast learner, who can coordinate your workload effectively
- To be great at building and maintaining relationships
- To be flexible, adaptable and above all energetic in your approach
- To be proactive, driven and be comfortable with minimal supervision
