Main key responsibilities
- Be a primary contact for all HR inquiries providing consistent and high quality advice
- Be a sounding board for line managers who need support
- Manage employee relations issues including grievances and disciplinary issues
- Advise on all key HR activities such as sickness management, best practice, well being, engagement etc.
- Case management of sickness and health related issues including referring to occupational health and management of the responses
- Assist the HR Business Partner with more complex cases
- Assist with the development, implementation and communication of Human Resource policies and procedures
EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE
- Previous experience in a HR role
- Knowledge of HR processes and best practices
- Experience with HR databases and HRIS (Cascade desirable)
- Excel experience
EDUCATION & TRAINING
- Degree level educated, or equivalent experience
- A recognised HR qualification – CIPD preferred
